One of those came in 1942 every time a warehouse open fire consumed almost all of00 the toy manufacturer\u2019s    wooden stock, leading Ole Kirk Christiansen to make a crucial decision. <\/p>\n<p> This individual decided to transfer the company far from wooden    toys and toy vehicles, which    had been its bread and butter, and move into clear plastic toys. It would be a major transformation for the family-owned enterprise, and the one which was not primarily well received. <\/p>\n<p> A journalist noted that \u201cplastics will not replace very good, solid wood. \u201d But Godtfred Christiansen persevered    and started to try out new models that used plastic. The first sensitive step was your introduction within the    Auto Binding Bricks that held together in order to avoid block systems from toppling on children. <\/p>\n<p> The new Seglar bricks did not become the iconic toy that    we know today till 1949. Until then, the interlocking bricks were mare like a construction plaything than a real building toy. It was as well not right up until 1958 the fact that the satisfying simply clicking coupling program    became a standard feature. <\/p>\n<p> Throughout the 1971s, the company continuing to increase    in production and market reach.
